Shweta Bhatt, MD, FACOG believes that no two fertility journeys look the same, and that the relationship between a patient and her physician is what carries someone through the hardest parts of the process. She practices evidence based, individualized reproductive medicine, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside her patients with honesty, compassion, and hope.

Although new to RMI, Dr. Bhatt is no stranger to Chicago. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, followed by a fellowship in Recurrent Pregnancy Loss at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Returning to the city where she began her postgraduate training, she is glad to be caring for the community that shaped her earliest years in medicine.

Dr. Bhatt completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her additional training in recurrent pregnancy loss brings a valuable layer of expertise to patients who have experienced repeated loss and have been left without clear answers.

Following fellowship, Dr. Bhatt practiced at a high volume private fertility center in Ohio, caring for individuals and couples across the full range of reproductive challenges. She joins RMI's team of board certified reproductive endocrinologists serving families throughout the Chicago area.
