Nasir Rana, M.D., M.P.H.
In loving memory of Dr. Nasir Rana (May 10, 1946 - March 16, 2023)
A founding partner of RMI, Dr. Rana dedicated his life towards helping others over the last 50 years. As a skilled laparoscopic surgeon, an expert in the diagnosis and management of endometriosis, and as a reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Rana has helped thousands of individuals. His expertise led him to have an incredibly successful academic career, where he helped hundreds of trainees also find their path in medicine.
His altruistic nature extended beyond how he cared for his patients, as every member of Team RMI has felt the effect of his kind heart; his humor and radiant demeanor always brought happiness to all. He was known as a father figure, but beyond this, as a friend who helped us through life’s ups and downs both personally and professionally. There is an endless list of happy memories that will continue to comfort us as we reflect on his life as well as on his renowned career as a physician.
Friend. Colleague. Physician. Mentor.
Forever in our hearts.
May he rest in peace.
