IVF Treatment Chicago
Recently, Oak Brook Fertility Center and the IVF Institute of Chicago (formerly, the Rinehart Center for Reproductive Medicine) merged to form the Reproductive Medicine Institute (RMI). RMI is a private medical facility dedicated exclusively to the management of infertility. It is fully equipped to provide complete diagnostic evaluations, comprehensive medical and surgical treatments, and a full range of assisted reproductive techniques (ART) typically available only at major medical centers. To accomplish this, RMI has on-site endocrinology, andrology, and immunology laboratories. Our centers also include an in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment programs backed by embryology laboratories for our Chicago, Illinois area patients. The Institute is affiliated with the Oak Brook Surgical Centre, and our facilities are fully accredited and our staff is fully certified.
The Roots of RMI
Determined to develop and nurture a Chicago-area Center of Excellence for Reproductive Medicine and Fertility, in the fall of 2009, Dr. Dmowski, Dr. Rinehart, Dr. Rana, and Dr. Levin moved the operations of Oak Brook Fertility Center and the Rinehart Center for Reproductive Medicine to the newly-formed Reproductive Medicine Institute (RMI). As RMI's Founding Members, they set a transition plan in motion that included building a medical practice that currently forms the basis for a high-level REI medical practice with a medical staff of six physicians, an employee base of 50 and seven Chicago area locations.

As free-standing facilities with the sole purpose of providing couples with the gift of a child, Reproductive Medicine Institute is truly unique. Because we are dedicated exclusively to fertility treatment, we often provide care to couples who have been turned down by other facilities. If a couple is deemed statistically undesirable for treatment, some facilities may not serve them as they do not want to risk negatively influencing their success rates. This is not the case at Reproductive Medicine Institute. We do not preselect our candidates based on the likelihood of a successful outcome. Instead, we pride ourselves in taking on challenging cases while maintaining our high rate of success. It’s the least we can do for those who would like nothing more than to have a child.
