One of the most effective treatment approaches for infertility is InVitro fertilization. Briefly, this technology involves controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, that allows women to produce multiple mature eggs during one cycle of treatment. It is followed by oocyte retrieval – extraction of the eggs from the ovaries, fertilization of the eggs with the sperm that leads to embryos formation, and embryo transfer – placement of the embryos into the cavity of the uterus.
